Goals and Achievements 1

What goals do I hope to achieve this year?

Hmm, where do I start? Like most of you, I make resolutions at the beginning of every year. These usually include things that I can do to become a better person or check something off my bucket list. Sometimes it can be hard to put these kinds of goals into words, but here are some of the more tangible ones:

  1. Get a real job. I should probably really get started on this whole “adulting” thing.
  2. Run a half marathon. According to Dean Karnazes, I can do it even if I don’t have ancient Greek runner blood in me (any of my running friends should read “The Road to Sparta”; it’s ridiculously awesome what he was able to accomplish).
  3. Develop better lifestyle habits by doing 30-day challenges each month. I won’t bore you with the details, but I do love having something to do everyday!
  4. Get to know God and Christ better through scripture. I’ve started in the Old Testament, looking for the promises that God gives, and it has been amazing what I have learned in the first eight chapters!

Basically I just want to be a more faithful, more fearless, more determined, more loving, and healthier person than I have been in the past. Sorry this post is so short and boring. I spent all of my energy on creating this new setup:) Next week should be better…
